The use of Miniaturized Instruments in Interventional Radiology

Interventional radiology can contain endoscopic surgery, endovascular surgery and percutaneous intervention all performed under X-ray or ultrasound guidance.

Common to all these is the use of point-surgical approaches, or orifices of the human body and the use of various imaging techniques that allow the surgeon to operate at a considerable distance from the administration tools.

The use of miniaturized instruments and high technology, are also hallmarks of this progressive trend in modern medicine.

Postgraduate Training of Radiation Oncology

Postgraduate training of radiation oncology specialists, unfortunately, comes down to training, at best, once every five years at one of the two departments of institutions of postgraduate education and this is becoming less affordable for professionals. In view of the socio-economic reasons, it becomes less accessible and the training of doctors in the workplace in large central hospitals. Until recently, the “incentives” in the form of reduced pensions, shorter working day, a long vacation created the conditions for the inflow into the ranks of radiation oncologists losers from other related specialties.

This is due to the increasing role and prestige of the profession, the opportunity to work on modern hardware, but this trend is only observed in some large radiology centers. Important is this form of training, the work in the scientific community (association), but here the situation is not the most favorable for radiation oncologists: the regional associations of oncologists, usually dominated by the number of surgical oncologists, radiation in the associations diagnosticians and radiation therapists overwhelming numerical superiority on the side of radiologists, diagnosticians.

Bulk of Research on Computer Security

The bulk of research on computer security focuses on privacy, mainly because most of the early research was funded by the military. In practice, as I said, the concept of "privacy" and "security" are used interchangeably. Computer security must be overcome, and many other new problems. Computer crimes are purchased in advanced telecommunications infrastructure is so widespread, that in order to deal with them in the criminal legislation have been introduced specific offenses.

How do companies ensure proper operation with a large database to which different people have different access? This problem can quickly become extremely complex. Only a few people have the right to see information about the salary, even fewer people need to see the entire set of data: the average salary, health statistics, etc.

Recently, a new kind of crime - the introduction of computer viruses, which revealed more than three hundred. Privacy is not much different from the networks security, which we discussed in Chapter 5. Initially, computer security is understood as preventing unauthorized access to classified information. This bias is partly dissipated with the advent of e-commerce transactions and practices on the Internet - in this area much more important person, - however, it remains in the development of most systems, computer security. Published in the press the results of studies conducted by experts, allow an exemplary sociological portrait of the modern hacker.

Age offenders varies in wide limits - from 15 to 45 years, and at the time of the offense a third of the age did not exceed 20 years. Over 80% of offenders in the computer field - men, the absolute most of which had higher and secondary special education. However, according to statistics, professional programmers from each Thousands of computer crime is committed only seven. Motives crime - a variety: selfish reasons (66%), espionage, sabotage (17%), research interest (7%), disorderly conduct and mischief (5%), revenge (5%).

Stop the Revolution of the Autocracy

In an effort to stop the revolution of the autocracy was forced to suppress their natural allies. Having stripped-down, emasculated constitution, it has become hostage to autocracy, and has lost its power, not gaining anything in return. From now on, it only worsened the situation, but was unable to improve it.

“It is not in a position to attempt to resolve whatever the big social problem, not dealing with a death-blow” – wrote Weber. However, in general the task of overcoming the crisis management of modernization in the caste society could not solve, the Russian Empire fell, according to Weber, the “historical trap” – a system of interacting vicious circles.

Whatever made the tsarist government, discontent was growing. The presence of these vicious circles, Weber explains, in particular, the hostile attitude of the autocracy towards the Zemstvo self-government as an institution, and therefore a significant part of the nobility and the intelligentsia.

Dilemma: Radiology assistants vs Radiologic technologist career

Radiology assistants prepare patients for tests. They explain details of procedures and perform some tests such as X-rays. In addition, they make sure that untreated areas are covered with protective shields and instruct patients to remove jewelry and clothing containing metal parts. These professionals prepare X-ray machines by inserting films and placing the machines in the right position.

Radiology assistants should have a certificate, associate's degree or bachelor's radiology degrees or related area. But, the majority radiology assistants earn an associate's degree. Radiology assistants can get job in variety of settings including hospitals, doctor's office and etc.

Radiologic technologists make complex diagnostic imaging procedure including mammograms, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computer tomography (CT). They take directions from radiologists and other doctors and follow the important safety precautions to minimize radiation exposure to themselves and patients. they prepare patients and explain the details of procedures.

Radiologic technologists also prepare the  equipment for procedures and assist radiologists. In addition, they maintain patient medical records, make work schedules and maintain tools and equipment. Radiologic technologists should earn a certificate, associate's degree or bachelor's degree in radiography or radiologic technology. It’s good to underline, mosts states require radiologic technologists to be licensed.
